As a singer and actress, she's become accustomed to switching up her style. And Samantha Jade opted to make a quirky statement as she arrived at Flemington Racecourse on Tuesday ahead of Melbourne Cup. The 29-year-old sported a vibrant knee-length frock by Jason Grech and flashed a glimpse of skin with an open neckline.

Samantha took to the media wall in a quirky frock by Melbourne-based label Jason Grech. The wide neckline drew attention to the starlet's delicate decolletage, while fringing on either side of her hips added an extra flair. Allowing the dress to do the talking, the Home And Away actress elongated her legs with a pair of nude strappy heels and opted for an ornate gold headpiece.

Styling her tresses sleek and straight, Samantha opted for a glamorous makeup palette of a flawless complexion, defined brows, subtle kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude lip. Proud of her curves, The Shake That hitmaker revealed to New Idea magazine earlier this year: 'I don't believe in starving yourself.' 'I'm obsessed with chocolate, I have chocolate every night - that's my little treat at the end of the day,' she said, adding: 'I also love hot chips with chicken salt - that's my guilty pleasure. Especially when I'm hungover!'  

Samantha said in order to maintain her incredible figure she eats well overall and enjoys snacks, but says she can't live without carbs, admitting that she tried once before to give them up but after three days was 'back into the chips.'

Despite her love of hot chips and chocolate, Samantha also enjoys food of a healthier kind and says her favourite is Acai bowls with plenty of nuts and healthy granola. The pop star also gave an insight into what her daily plate consists of, revealing she usually eats eggs and avocado for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and a bowl of Pho for dinner. In regards to working out, the blonde beauty admitted that she doesn't go to the gym and relies on her busy schedule to maintain her physique, along with her regular performances.
